Abstract - Notes on the Otiorhynchus belonging to the subgen. Cavernodes, description of a new species and key to the Sardo-Corsican species (Coleoptera, Curculionidae, Entiminae) - In this note a Sardinian new species of Entiminae belonging to the genus Otiorhynchus Germar, 1822, subgen. Cavernodes Bialooki, 2015, is described: Otiorhynchus (Cavernodes) curviphallus n. sp. An updated list of the species belonging to the subgenus Cavernodes, with their geographic distributions and ecological data, are also given. A key to the Sardo-Corsican species, which are divided in 3 groups (grenieri group, hyacinthae group, doderoi group), is presented. All Sardinian species are also fully illustrated, and morphometrically analysed by means of tables. It is highlighted the belonging of O. nicaeicivis (des Gozis, 1895) and O. monoecirupis Lemaire, Ponel & Alziar, 2012 [respectively, from the French Maritime Alps, and the Principality of Monaco, considered close to O. grenieri (Allard, 1869) by LEMAIRE et al., 2012] to the subgenus Cavernodes, unlike what is reported in the recent catalogues by MORRONE & HLAVÁČ (2017) and ALONSO-ZARAZAGA et al. (2017).
