Abstract - A new Otiorhynchus Germar, 1822 (subg. Italorrhynchus Magrini, 2019) from Marche (Coleoptera, Curculionidae, Entiminae) - It is herein described a new species of the subgenus Italorrhynchus Magrini, 2019 of Otiorhynchus Germar, 1822 from Forcella del Fargno (Bolognola, Sibillini Mountains, Marche): it is the 41st taxon of the subgenus known from Italy. The new species is more similar to 5 taxa geographically close: O. (I.) andreinii (F. Solari, 1932) from Genga (Ancona, Marche); O. (I.) hummleri cheminii (Osella, 1976) from the Cave of Sant’Eustachio, near San Severino (Macerata, Marche); O. (I.) cirocchii (Osella & Abbazzi, 1985) from Mount Subasio (Foligno, Perugia, Marche); O. (I.) vignolii Magrini & Petrioli, 2020 from Mount La Pelosa (Polino, Terni, Umbria); O. (I.) angelinii (Osella, 1985) from Prati di Tivo (Gran Sasso, Teramo, Abruzzo) and Mount Vettore (Sibillini Mountains, Ascoli Piceno, Marche). The new taxon is easily distinguishable from the first 4 species, and particularly from the last, the most diffused, for exoskeletal and spermatheca characters; even sharper the differences towards the more geographically distant species.
