A new species of Phacophallus from Oman
(Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Xantholinini)

Abstract - Phacophallus omaniticus sp. n. is described and illustrated from Oman. The new species is compared with Phacophallus arabicus Coiffait, 1979 from Saudi Arabia, and Phacophallus sahariensis Coiffait, 1968 from Chad (Ennedì), West Sudan, and probably Libya, Mauritania and South Morocco.
