Abstract - Three new species of Trechisibus Motschoulsky, 1863 from Bolivia and Argentina (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae) - Two new species found at high altitude on the Bolivian Andes - Trechisibus illiampu n. sp. from the Cordillera Real (Cerro Illiampu, at 4500 m asl); T. cochabambaensis n. sp. from the Cordillera Oriental de Cochabamba (Cerro Tunari, at 5150 m asl) - and T. huemul n. sp. from the Argentine Patagonia (Lake Huemul, at 750 m asl) are described. The exoskeletal morphology, and male and female genitalia are described for all new species. Considerations on the taxonomy of the subgenera attributed to the genus Trechisibus are also made.
