from the Bird’s Head Peninsula, New Guinea

Abstract - Results of the study of more than 600 specimens of the genus Laccobius Erichson, 1837 collected in the Bird’s Head Peninsula, New Guinea, are presented. Three new species are described and classified in the subgenus Notoberosus Blackburn, 1895: L. (N.) helenae sp. nov., L. (N.) levipunctus sp. nov., and L. (N.) testeganus sp. nov. New distributional data are provided for five species already known from Bird’s Head Peninsula.
