Abstract - On the presence of the genus Pseudoeudesis Binaghi, 1948 in Sardinia with descriptions of four new species (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Scydmaeninae) - Four new species of Pseudoeudesis Binaghi, 1948 are described from Sardinia (Italy): Pseudoeudesis carinicollis n. sp. (characterized by the occiput of the head with a short dorsal longitudinal carina), and other three species characterized by the occiput with single fovea (Pseudoeudesis cychroides n. sp., Pseudoeudesis astarte n. sp., Pseudoeudesis insulana n. sp.). The range of the genus Pseudoeudesis in Sardinia seems to be limited to the Sulcis subregion (SW Sardinia).
