Abstract - We present the results of a preliminary study on the ground beetle fauna of Quirimbas National Park, Cabo Delgado province, Mozambique, with descriptions of three new species. The list is composed of species of Coleoptera Carabidae collected by François & Simon Génier, with the help of Marcelino Denja, in the Province of Cabo Delgado (Mozambique). The specimens were determined by Sergio Facchini, except the Scaritinae, which were determined by Petr Bulirsch, and the Cicindelini, Chlaeniini, Cyclosomini and Panagaeini by Peter Schüle. The following new species, currently known only from Cabo Delgado, are also described: Siopelus (Aulacoryssus) mossambicensis n. sp., Loxoncus bilobus n. sp, Lachnothorax immaculipennis n. sp. Photos of the habitus of the new species and drawings of the respective genitalia complete the article.
