A new species of Scotonomus Fauvel, 1873 from Sardinia
(Coleoptera, Staphylinidae)

Abstract - A new species of Scotonomus - S. onnisi - is described and illustrated from Sardinia (Posada, Nuoro). The new species is related to Scotonomus dorgalensis Bordoni, Fancello & Leo, 2012 from Dorgali (Nuoro), but differs for exoskeleton characteristics and the peculiar shape of the aedeagus.
