* We have sent some e-mails to Dr. Mu Mu Aung, entomologist in Myanmar, urging him to participate in our joint research project. However, unfortunately, we have not yet received his reply. We suspect that it may be due partly to the difficult situation of his country.

Abstract - A new species of Phelotrupes (Sinogeotrupes) is described from Myanmar: P. (S.) sagaingensis sp. nov.
