Abstract - This study revises the taxonomy of the Figulus punctatus species group in East Asia. Morphological and genitalic analyses of specimens from Taiwan, Japan, and Korea clarify species boundaries, leading to three key outcomes: the description of Figulus formosanus sp. nov.  from southern Taiwan, the reinstatement of Figulus daitoensis (stat. rev.) based on distinct morphology and isolation, and the lectotype designation for F. punctatus. A new key, updated diagnosis, and revised checklist for Taiwanese Figulus are provided, offering a resolved framework for the group's diversity and biogeography.
