A 15-20 million-year-old specimen of Agrilus Curtis, 1825
(Coleoptera, Buprestidae)
in Mexican amber

Abstract - An undescribed species of Agrilus Curtis, 1825 found in the Mexican fossiliferous amber deposits of Simojovel in Chiapas, Mexico is described: Agrilus sucinum n. sp. The formation of the deposit is traced back to the early Middle Miocene with an estimated age dated at 15-20 million years.
