Abstract - Three new species of Onthophagus (Matashia) are described from the Philippines: O. (M.) negrosensis sp. nov. from Negros Is.; O. (M.) samarensis sp. nov. from Samar and Leyte Is.; O. (M.) apomontanus sp. nov. from Mt. Apo, Mindanao Is. A key to the Philippine species of Onthophagus (Matashia) is provided.
