Abstract - The genus Theodosia J. Thomson, 1880 is revised. The taxa, Theodosia rothschildi Janson, 1903, which has been treated as a junior synonym of T. telifer (Bates, 1889), and Theodosia viridicollis (Kraatz, 1898), which has been treated as a junior synonym of T. howittii (Castelnau, 1873), are considered good species. The taxon Theodosia maindroni kaorui Nagai, 1998 is synonymized with the nominotypical subspecies. The subgenus Hemitheodosia of the genus Theodosia is redescribed in detail. Besides, a key to the subgenera and species of the genus Theodosia is made based on exoskeletal and aedeagal characteristics.
