Notes on the Genus Bradybaenus Dejean, 1829
with description of a new species from Kenya and Somalia
(Coleoptera Carabidae, Harpalinae)

Abstract - A new species of Bradybaenus Dejean, 1829 is here described - B. lucidicollis n. sp. - from Kenya and Somalia. The habitus and male genitalia of the new and related species are illustrated, moreover a checklist of the taxa and a key to the known species of the genus Bradybaenus are provided. The following systematic change is proposed: Bradybaenus exiguus Facchini, 2011 is a junior (new) synonym of Bradybaenus neavei Basilewsky, 1946.
