with description of a new species from the Afrotropical region
(Coleoptera Carabidae, Harpalini)

Abstract - The description of a new species of the genus Nothodaptus Maindron, 1906 from Africa is given, and the habitus and male genitalia of Nothodaptus longipennis n. sp. and Nothodaptus simplex (Péringuey, 1896) are illustrated. Finally, a map with the distributions of the new species and N. simplex is provided.
Riassunto - In questo articolo è descritta una nuova specie dell’Africa continentale appartenente al genere Nothodaptus Maindron, 1906; sono illustrati l’habitus e il lobo mediano dell'edeago di Nothodaptus longipennis n. sp. e di Nothodaptus simplex (Péringuey, 1896). Infine, una mappa mostra la distribuzione delle due specie.
