Abstract - Description of a new species of Trechisibus Motschoulsky, 1863 from Bolivia (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae) - The new species Trechisibus apolobamba, collected at high altitude (4,700 m) on Nevado Pelechuco Huaracha (Cordillera Apolobamba, La Paz Department), is described and illustrated. It is distinguished from the related Bolivian and nearest Peruvian species on the basis of its outer characteristics; female genitalia are also described.
