Two new species and five new subspecies
in the genus Manticora Fabricius
(Coleoptera: Cicindelidae: Manticorini)

Abstract
- Descriptions of 2 new species (Manticora
tyrannus, M. hrdyi),
and 5 new subspecies (M.
imperator barksdalei, M. mygaloides thabazimbiensis, M. gruti
irritator, M. holubi cunenensis, M. skrabali glabrata)
are presented. W. Horn´s conclusion of considering M.
herculeana Klug
to be ssp. of
M. scabra Klug
(HORN,
1905, 1910) is also supported.
