Abstract
- A
new hypogean
Duvalius from
north-eastern Sicily
(Coleoptera,
Carabidae, Trechinae)
- A new hypogean Duvalius,
belonging
to the siculus
Group (sensu
MAGRINI,
1997-1998), and the first from the Nebrodi Mountains in north-eastern
Sicily, is here described. It is related to Duvalius
siculus
(Baudi di Selve, 1882) (Madonie) and Duvalius
hartigi
Magrini, Baviera & Vigna Taglianti, 2006 (Mount Etna), but can be
differentiated through numerous characteristics.
