to the fauna of Italy (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Leptotyphlinae,
Entomoculiini) -
Description of Paratyphlus
percussor,
new species of the tribe Entomoculiini from Sardinia. Following the
discovery of the new taxon, representative of a genus new to the
fauna of Italy, the keys to the tribes and genera of Leptotyphlinae
in Fauna
d’Italia
(PACE,
1996) are updated, in particular to avoid confusion with the species
of the genus Cephalotyphlus
Coiffait, 1955 belonging to another tribe (Cephalotyphlini). A
transcription error in BORDONI
& FANCELLO
(2016) about the species Cephalotyphlus
vicetinus
(Pace, 1975) is also corrected.
