Abstract - A new Asida Latreille, 1802 of the subgenus Planasida Escalera, 1907 from the Rif Mountains (North Morocco) (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Pimeliinae, Asidini) - Asida (Planasida) ketamae n. sp., from the Rif Mountains (North Morocco), is described and illustrated. The new species is related to Asida (Planasida) septemsis Pérez-Vera, Ruiz & Ávila, 2012 from the surroundings of Ceuta, but can be differentiated for several exoskeleton characteristics and the shape of male genitalia as well.
