Riassunto - Ricerche personali condotte in alcune grotte del Bresciano orientale, precisamente in Val Sabbia nei dintorni di Provaglio V. S. (Prealpi Gardesane), hanno portato tra l’altro al rinvenimento di un unico esemplare femmina del genere Baldorhynchus (Di Marco & Osella, 2002) che, allo studio successivo, si è rivelato appartenere ad una specie ancora inedita del “gruppo kahleni” sensu Bellò, Osella & Baviera, 2016). La descrizione della nuova entità costituisce pertanto l’oggetto principale della presente nota.
Abstract - Description of Baldorhynchus trezzii n. sp. from the Lombard Prealps (Coleoptera, Curculionidae, Entiminae) - Personal researches conducted in some caves of the eastern Bresciano, specifically in the Sabbia Valley near Provaglio V. S. (Gardesan Prealps), led to the discovery of a single female specimen of the genus Baldorhynchus (Di Marco & Osella, 2002), which, in a subsequent study, turned out to belong to a still unpublished species of the "kahleni group" (sensu BELLÒ, OSELLA & BAVIERA, 2016). The description of the new entity therefore constitutes the main subject of this note.

Description of a new Protaetia (Acanthoprotaetia) Mikšić, 1987 from Vietnam

Abstract - A cryptic species in the subgenus Protaetia (Acanthoprotaetia) Mikšić is described from southern Vietnam. P. (A.) percryptica n. sp. can be distinguished from its congener, P. (A.) niveoguttata Janson, 1876 by the different structure of the aedeagal parameres and a number of minor morphological characters.
Riassunto - Una specie criptica nel sottogenere Protaetia (Acanthoprotaetia) Mikšić è descritta del Sud del Vietnam. P. (A.) percryptica n. sp. si distingue da P. (A.) niveoguttata Janson principalmente per la struttura dei parameri dell’edeago e per altri caratteri morfologici di minore importanza.

Riassunto - Viene qui descritta una nuova specie raccolta ad alta quota sulle Ande boliviane - Trechisibus festai n. sp. - della Cordigliera Occidentale (Laguna Negra, 4000 m). Vengono descritti e illustrati morfologia esterna e genitali maschili e femminili della nuova specie. Considerazioni comparative sulle specie affini e note ecologiche completano l’articolo.
Abstract - A new specie of Trechisibus Motschulsky, 1863 from Bolivia (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae) - A new specie collected at high altitude on the Bolivian Andes - Trechisibus festai n. sp. - from the Cordillera Occidental (Laguna Negra, 4000 m asl), is described. Its outer morphology, and that of male and female genitalia are described. Considerations on the taxonomy of the subgenera attributed to the genus Trechisibus are also made. Ecological notes complete the article.

Abstract - The longicorn genus Obages Pascoe, 1866 belonging to the tribe Mormopsini of the subfamily Lamiinae is herein revised. Six new species, Obages (Obages) yokoyamai sp. nov., O. (O.) gentingensis sp. nov., O. (O.) pahangensis sp. nov., O. (O.) montanus sp. nov., O. (O.) miyakei sp. nov. and O. (O.) okudai sp. nov. are described from the Malay Peninsula, Malaysia. A new monotypic subgenus - Muscosusobages subgen. nov. - is established based on the type species, Obages cameroni Breuning, 1972. Three new species groups, the Obages (Obages) palparis species group, the O. (O.) tuberculipennis species group and the Obages (Muscosusobages) cameroni species group are proposed. Six congenerous already known species are redescribed based mostly on the holotypes. Habitus, maxillary palpi and aedeagi etc. are illustrated. A key to subgenera, species groups and species of the genus Obages are provided.

Abstract - Three new species of Onthophagus are described from Laos: O. (Hikidaeus) boreri sp. nov., O. (Serrophorus) semicognatus sp. nov., O. (Sinonthophagus) olegkabakovi sp. nov. A new species of Caccobius is also described from Laos: C. (Caccobius) schoolmeestersi sp. nov. In addition, Caccobius (Caccophilus) masumotoi Cambefort is firstly recorded from Laos.

Riassunto - Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. viene descritta e illustrata sulla base di una coppia catturata 60 anni fa proveniente dalla Bolivia, patria di altri 4 taxa Golofa Hope, 1837. La nuova specie esibisce protibie quadridentate, inserendosi dunque nel sottogenere Mixigenus J. Thomson, 1859; inoltre essa presenta nel maschio una colorazione nera uniforme delle elitre, caratteristica piuttosto rara nei maschi delle specie Golofa (< 10%). Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. è affine a G. pelagon Burmeister, 1847: se ne evidenziano le caratteristiche morfologiche differenziali.
Abstract - Contribution to the knowledge of the genus Golofa Hope, 1837 with description of Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. from Bolivia (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Dynastini) - Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. is described and illustrated on the basis of a pair collected 60 years ago in Bolivia, home to 4 other taxa of Golofa Hope, 1837. The new species exibits quadridentate protibiae: consequently, it belongs to the subgenus Mixigenus J. Thomson, 1859. The new species male has a uniform black colour of elytra, a quite rare character in the males of Golofa (< 10%). Golofa gianassoi sp. nov. is close to G. pelagon Burmeister, 1847: the differential morphological characters are highlighted.

Riassunto - Vengono studiate sulla base di numeroso materiale (oltre 1500 esemplari) le specie italiane appartenenti al genere Amadotrogus Reitter, 1902. Conseguentemente sono proposti i seguenti cambiamenti sistematici: Amadotrogus grassii (Mainardi, 1902) e Amadotrogus tarsalis (Reiche, 1862) sono considerati nuovi sinonimi di Amadotrogus insubricus (Burmeister, 1855); la sinonimia Rhizotrogus rugifrons Burmeister, 1855 = Amadotrogus vicinus (Mulsant, 1842) viene discussa. Amadotrogus luigionii n. sp. è descritto dell’Italia centrale tirrenica (Toscana meridionale, Lazio e Campania). È fornita una chiave (italiano/inglese) per le specie e una loro aggiornata geonemia.
Abstract - Revision of the Italian species of the genus Amadotrogus Reitter, 1902 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae: Rhizotrogini) - About 1500 specimens of the Italian species belonging to the genus Amadotrogus Reitter, 1902 were studied. The following systematics changes are proposed: Amadotrogus grassii (Mainardi, 1902) and Amadotrogus tarsalis (Reiche, 1862) are new synonyms of Amadotrogus insubricus (Burmeister, 1855); the synonymy Rhizotrogus rugifrons Burmeister, 1855 = Amadotrogus vicinus (Mulsant, 1842) is discussed; Amadotrogus luigionii n. sp. from Central Tyrrhenian Italy (South Tuscany, Latium and Campania) is described. A key (Italian/English) to the Italian species and their updated geonemy are provided.
